Education is one way of educating the nation. Education fully
contributes in improving the quality of human development. Human quality should
be improved, because the global competition is increasingly high. In this
global competition, only qualified human will survive. For the younger
generation, they should always be educated and guided to develop their skills
and prepare themselves optimally in the global world.
The quality and good education is a hope of every society. Quality
education will produce quality human resources as high quality human resources
is the motor of development of the nation. Education is one way to develop the
potential of learners as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 on National Education
System which explains that: “Education is a conscious and deliberate
effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that
learners are actively developing the potential for him/her to have the power of
spiritual religious, self-knowledge, personality, intelligence noble character,
and skills needed by him/her, society, nation and country “. It is related
to the educational goals of Indonesia as stated in the foundation of Pancasila
and the Basic Law states that the intellectual life of the nation and develop
fully human faith and devoted to God Almighty and noble character, knowledge
and skills, physical and spiritual health, steady and independent personality,
and sense of social responsibility and nationality.
Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 on National Education
System Chapter II, Section 3, states that: “The national education serves
to develop the ability and character development and civilization of the
nation’s dignity in the context of the intellectual life of the nation, is
aimed at developing students’ potentials to become a man of faith and devoted
to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent,

Education is one of the keys in advance of a nation. That is why the
quality of education needs to be prioritized in the form of qualified human
resources for the betterment of the nation. In this case, it is a necessary to

that affect the quality of education, how to achieve quality education, and the

Factors that Affects The Quality
Establishment of quality education
can not be separated from the factors that affect the quality of education
itself. Here are the factors that affect the quality of education according to

Pancasila is an ideology and also
the nation’s identity. Characteristic of Indonesia portrayed in principles of
Pancasila. Thus, Pancasila is also crucial in the achieving of a quality
education. Pancasila is the basis for the Indonesian people in managing their
lives, including managing education. Pancasila is the basis of national
education as stated in Law No. 20 of 2003 Chapter 2 About the National
Education System, which reads: The National Education based on Pancasila and
the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1945.

beings have the knowledge that is derived from God. Because human birth has

and distinguishes human from other living beings.
The first principle of Pancasila contribute to an education which
explains that God sent down a revelation to mankind through His envoy, so that
it becomes a revelation to human knowledge. Human acquire the truth and
knowledge through revelation given by God to man. That knowledge can be used as
guidance in educating a person to be personally devoted to his Lord.
2) Just and Civilized Humanity

sense of humanity. Educate people in order to become a person who has a sense
